Suzanne Melo

 

Suzanne Assis de Souza Melo was born in Barbacena, Brazil. She received the Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in telecommunications in February 2011 and the M.S. degree in telecommunications in February 2014 from National Institute of Telecommunications (Inatel), Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Brazil. In 2012 she received a grant for research in optical communications in the Laboratory of CPqD (Research and Development Center in Telecommunications), in Campinas, Brazil. Since May 2014 she is with the National Photonic Networks Laboratory of CNIT (Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni) in Pisa, Italy. Her research interests are in the area of optical communications, in nonlinear optics, in fiber optical transmissions, especially all-optical signal processing and pulsed source generation, digital photonics and microwave photonics.
